Venice and Rome!

The first item on my bucket list has always been - ROME!

We celebrated our 25th anniversary in grand style, stopping for two days in Venice on the way.  It was all I had every dreamed of.  The weather was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the kids were well taken care of by mom.  Jody and I had the time of our lives and felt incredibly blessed to be able to make this trip.

 Venice was surreal, like a city floating on the water.  Mass at St. Mark's was so beautiful and moving.  We could have spent days exploring!

We took a five hour tour and it felt like two hours.  It was so interesting and incredible, not to mention that we saw the POPE! Doesn't get any better than that!
