BOO!

Knock, Knock
Boo!
Boo! Who?!

What 'cha crying about?

Hahahahahaha!

Can't tell you how many times I have heard that joke in the past two days!
I am tired of the joke but I never get tired of the hysterical giggles it brings from the little ones! Halloween was lots of fun even though Jody was out of town and Joseph was at an out of town football game.
Life certainly changes quickly...we used to all dress up together and were all within a "theme", now (much to Em's dismay)we go with the flow (such as Gracie deciding at the last minute to be a bear instead of Hannah Montanna) and do whatever works for all of us. We were culling the depths of the dress up basket all afternoon for the costume of the moment. As you can see from the pics everyone was happy with what they decided to be and even Charlie had a costume (thanks to Samuel's hand me downs!). Is mommy getting lazy, or maybe just smarter?....hmmm.

Fall Leaves!

The kids absolutely love jumping in leaf piles. So, the minute we had enough leaves in our yard to make a pile they got to work! If only they had as much fun picking them up and bagging them!

Making faces....

After a very sad farewell to NeeNee, we went to the neighbors to drown our sorrows in apple cider and carve up our pumpkins. The kids got pretty creative and a good time was had by all, well...almost all. Gracie wasn't feeling very sociable as you can see from her picture!

Drew's Birthday

Drew had a cool "mummy" cake for his birthday, a day in D.C. with Nee Nee and Paw Pee, Chuck E. Cheese for lunch on Saturday, a party with friends next Saturday and apple picking this Sunday...talk about a birthday week! Here are some pics from all the fun.

Charlie is changing!

Charlie is crawling, pulling up, cutting teeth, and growing way too fast!

Grandparents arrive!

Laura and Gil arrived Saturday, just in time for Maggie to develop pnuemonia. We were so blessed to have them here while we went from Dr. appt. to Dr. appt.. Thankfully, she is much better today and Jody still managed to keep the tour bus rolling. They have seen more of D.C. in three days than most see in three weeks! Here are some pics from the week.

Fishing for the BIG ones!

I have had to eat my words. When my dear friend Becky asked us what we would do with all the fish that the men brought home, I quickly replied "I have never had to worry about what to do with all the fish Jody and Joseph bring home and they have been fishing plenty of times..haha!" Well, the men went fishing and I actually did have to think about what to do with the fish they brought home! They went with our friends Rich and David King, while Becky, Caris and Joseph hung out with the rest of us at home.

2025 The First Six Months

This year was to be a year of rejoicing (my chosen "word of the year") and so far, it has exceeded our expectations! We have had ...
