The Base Community Club had a guest chef for its big Mardi Gras celebration!
Can you guess who? I also helped out by making King Cakes while Jody made the jambalaya.
It was a huge success and we had a great time cooking in an industrial kitchen. Now my stove looks even smaller....

Smarticle Particle
Love our Honor Students! (Ramie was selected too, but we didn't get a pic)
Charlie finished up his indoor soccer season undefeated!
(we won't mention there was only one team and they just played each other....)

I AM SIX!!!
The "Man of the Hour" getting his breakfast in bed and his present - real Golf Clubs!
After months and months of waiting, it was finally HIS birthday!!! And all he wanted to do was PLAY BALL!! Dad was the ref and assembled, warmed up, and led the "teams" in a few games of B-ball in our gym. Charlie had a blast! I think the rest of the kids did too, but not everyone LOVES basketball (go figure) so we moved the end of the party into the bowling alley for cupcakes and pizza.
It's good to be six.

Linton Falls, Grassington
We headed to Grassington today for a little hike. We were rewarded for venturing out on this rainy, chilly, typical English day with beautiful views and some much needed "outside" time. It is amazing how green everything is here. We are always so appreciative of this opportunity we have, to live in a place so unlike any we have ever known. We only have 18 more months, so come visit soon!
Mustangs Basketball
The Lady Mustangs finished their regular season with a "grudge match" against the Junior Mustangs.
Sibling rivalry was at its height as two brother/sister sets faced off! The Lady Mustangs, with only 6 healthy players struggled and eventually lost against a healthy, full team of 15 Junior Mustangs.
Ramie Ogea struggled to make a shot until Drew Ogea fouled her - she then promptly sunk both of her foul shots! Both ended up having a great game and their family LOVED watching them play!
