Here we go again!

We finally made it to England! After days of delays and changing our tickets twice, we were finally able to meet Jody and Emily (and the dog!) in merry ole England. We are now stationed at Menwith Hill, a Royal Air Force base in Northern England. Think Pride and Predjudice or All Creatures Great and Small. It is beautiful but will definitely be an adjustment. We went from sunny and hot in Virgina to windy and cool, and most of the friends we have made here have informed us that we can put the shorts away! We certainly don't mind. We have already made plans for trips to Scotland and most of the surrounding villages to see castles, hike the moors and dales, and enjoy the quiet beauty of this incredible place! I am going to try and update this blog at least twice a month with pics from all of our adventures. We are still without internet capabilities in our house so the pics will have to wait another week or two, so keep checking! (:
