Jody took over another squadron on June 11. The Support Sq. he was commanding was merged with the Services Sq. and he officially took command of the new "combined" squadron in a ceremony at the Officer's Club here at Minot AFB, ND. This merger is a test for all the other bases in the Air Force. Eventually, for manning purposes, all bases will have one squadron- the Force Support Squadron- that manages all the support and services functions on the base. This is a huge responsibility because they run all the dining facilities, childcare facilities, rec facilities, and all things that have to do with human resource (i.e. deployments, retirements, promotions, etc.!).
He is incredibly busy and we are incredibly proud!
