My niece Tori got to live out a dream...I took her and Em to see the symphony at the Kennedy Center. We scored orchestra seats for 1/2 price and had an amazing time!

Photo Op!
It is a fact that in our family that I LOVE to take group shots of all the kids. The kids, however, DO NOT LOVE IT! Here are several attempts to get a decent family shot....the top one is probably the best and as you can see, it wasn't the little ones giving us the most trouble! They will thank us when they are older, right? If nothing else, we can look back at them and say..."remember how you would never smile!?!"
Tye Dye!
Jody and I had a great idea....the kids would tye dye shirts and we would take a grandkids pic for mom and dad! Well, it was a great IDEA but in reality tye dyeing, although very cool, is also VERY messy and by the end it was pretty much Em and Tori doing the dyeing. They did a great job and we, of course, have the pics to prove it!

Summer Fun
We are at the pool EVERYDAY. I mean that literally because the kids are on the neighborhood swim team and they practice everyday but Sunday and have meets on Saturday! It has been fun but tiring. Luckily, it gives us lots of photo ops! There is also a pic of my siblings and me...just for you Mom and Dad!
